Significance of Dandiya

Dandiya, also known as the “Dance of Swords”, is performed as a symbol of victory of good over evil. The sticks (dandiyas) represent the swords of Goddess Durga, used in the battle against Mahishasura. Each step and strike echoes devotion, power and positivity, making Dandiya not just a dance, but a divine celebration of strength, unity and joy.
